The 17th edition, of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD) will take place on 15-17 March 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The 17th edition of DIHAD Conference & Exhibition is under the theme “Aid after Coronavirus, a focus on Africa” and is scheduled on 15-17 March 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
As the region’s most important event for exchanging humanitarian ideas, values and practices, DIHAD 2021 will provide a high-profile platform to discuss the most urgent humanitarian challenges facing the African continent due to climate changes and lack of development.
Among attendees, there will be major aid donors, UAE-based charities, and organizations such as the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, the Red Crescent and Red Cross Movements, UN agencies, NGOs, the IMF and OECD.
In many senses, there has never been a better time for the world’s humanitarian community to come together and explore viable solutions to these issues, as well as attracting assistance programs and awareness campaigns from leading aid organizations.
First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, HE Aisha Muhammadu Buhari; Dr. Ali Al-Hakami, Secretary-General, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Humanitarian Foundation, Ms. Ann Encontre Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Ethiopia and more influencers will deliver their speeches to analyze positive and negative results.
